FCUs AG-08 and AE-03 by Tabnir FCUs AG-08 and AE-03 by Tabnir
2 Hours "speedpaint" on CS3. Is 2 hours still considered a speedie? :faint:

Anyways, was playing around with some commonwealth FCU designs. The FCU in the foreground is AG-08 [I know. I made it up, so don't ask, haha!]. The chassis is based off of the Interdictor [link] but I changed the top hatch to also accommodate a periscope-like affair, a la OH-58 Kiowa-style.

I initially had the AG-08 have two cannons just like all my previous FCU concepts, but I decided to change all FCUs to using melee weapons for a more neo-Go-- nevermind! :giggle:

Nice artwork. Did you consider putting lightning between the spikes on the morning star. Would add a little more futurism?

the saturation and colour variety of the dacals do spoil the cool bulgy design a bit. BUT NICE =)

That's an interesting combo. A futuristic mech thingy with a somewhat primitive looking combat weapon

did you do this all with the standard brushes that come with adobe photoshop, or do you use particular downloaded ones?

The background flat brush was from a special brushpack but I do all the foreground stuff with the stock circle brushes, which are more than adequate. No smudging this time either, all brush and eraser. :)

Bah what are you talking about, the lighting sucks.

Scratches are just light line beside dark line.
