Akula, type N. The type-N is an advanced iteration used almost exclusively by House Sverak; however, around the time the type-Ns were adopted, pod mechs became used less for actual combat than as a drop/extraction method for Ghaumril operatives. The cockpit egress is located on the underside; the top hatch opens for maintenance purposes.

Anyways, had some time open this weekend since the homework load has so far been [thankfully] light. I broke from my usual practice and used a scanned linework to start this on off, which is something I probably won't do again in the near future... nevermind on that. CS3, 1.5 hr.

I like this a lot, overall. First, there's a nice bit of depth of field (uni9ntentional or intentional?) that gives it some clarity and realism. But my fav part of this is it feels like it's crammed full of all sorts of nasty surprises (mortars, defense cannon etc) it's a very intirguing, organic sort of design.
